I thought it was something a cake decorator had created at first glance .LOL. Too cold for me ,we have a hot wind at the moment.
What happens to the snow that the truck removes it ? I would have thought that where ever it gets dumped it would eventually cause a flooding problem when it melts.

"Yikes" is right! - makes me shiver just looking at your pretty photo; we had 39.5 degrees Centigrade here yesterday. Good luck with avoiding frost-bite while I'm trying to avoid heat exhaustion!

When I first lived in Atlanta (early 90's) they had a big four snow removal trucks, three at the airport and one for all of I-285 and I-75 and I-85 and all local streets. You could just stay home if it snowed. My Mom always said Southerners don't know how to drive in snow and ice.

Why do you have turn over your bird-bath? It will freeze whatever way it's up won't it? I don't live anywhere near snow, so I have no idea what you have to do to prepare for it. It does give stunning views.

When water freezes it expands , so it's best to turn it over , it could crack the cement birdbath.

Yes but this is very early for snow where I live, we had a terrible winter last year and they are predicting the same or even a worst winter...yikes!

Beautiful pictures, you have baked a lovely pie and even made the meringue! I however do not think I'll sit on the cold stool or chair to try the lovely pie. smiles all round!

I would have to purchase a heater? Not sure if that is something I want to due.

We woke up to a coating but the sun is out and it is already dripping. It should be gone by this afternoon. Suzanne

I'm so glad to be back in Florida even if it is only 36 F this morning. I don't miss the snow, not one flake. But your birdbath does look so pretty covered in snow. Stay warm and dry.
