very pretty colours I have the hot pink one ,
The light coral is full of flowers now, so pretty!
They look beautiful. I have these also. I love them too, they have finished flowering now (in Australia). They are under my pergola in hanging baskets.
They are beautiful, I have several also, 4 to be exact, mine are budding but not yet blooming/lillian
I have 2 more that are not blooming yet. thank you
I agree these are lovely!~hugs~
Mine is just budding. and the color is different, more pink . But then sometimes the color taken is not true to the actual color. So very pretty.
Absolutely beautiful - wish that I was closer and could get some pieces !
I would share! LOL
Your flowers are lovely, it's amazing the different names they go by all round the world. My Aunt use to call then Crab Cactus I think because they are jointed like Crab Claws.. By what ever name the are lovely to look at... Marian
A lady told me once, there is a Christmas cactus, a thanksgiving cactus and a easter cactus. The leaves are different on these two, so don't know which is which. LOL
How pretty! How do you get them to blossom like that? I had mine sitting outside all summer, and for the first time ever, while I was away, and the nights were cold, they started putting on blossoms. But then it got far too cold for them to be outside, so I brought them in and the blossoms fell off. :( I have a dozen or so plants. They grow like weeds, but don't flower.
I use to put mine outside and as soon as I brought them in they would bloom till spring. I don't put them out anymore, but the just start blooming this time of year.
I think these are also called Christmas Cactus. Yours are beautiful!!!
They are both different leaves. so I think I have two different kinds. Thank You!
Beautiful healthy plants.
My zygocactus usually flower in May but this year I had to replace some which had eventually gave in to old age ,20 -25 yrs old.I bought new ones yellow ,bright red, apricot ,orange & white which are thriving but the yellow one decided to flower again last Saturday ,not a good idea when its 100 degrees outside with a hot wind blowing. They are in hanging baskets on the pergola.
My mother's are in bloom here in Newcastle, Australia (where it is Springtime) and hers are dark and hot pink. These are called Zygo Cactus here in Oz, love Chris
Some are called Christmas cactus , for obvious reasons & seem to have flowers with zig zag shaped edges.( sharp pointed edges)
One of mine have the zig zag edges and one is smooth. A lady told me there is a Christmas cactus, thanksgiving and easter cactus. Maybe I will have to search web and see what I can find
i am looking for yellow one! have have these too they are just lovely dark purple ,red orange.and they bloom twice sometimes.
Yellow yum! Don't think I've seen a yellow one.
Are they ever beautiful.
So pretty. My cactus is also blooming but it will probably be done within the next couple of weeks.
