Well cuties, our niece's wedding is over. It was an awesome affair, and we were so glad to be a part. The outfit I made for myself was a hit. ( It was all very formal )

The only hitch was that my husband ( unfortunately ), had another fever issue. We were unable to participate in a lot of the evening events but still had a great time. We were there, just did not eat or drink very much! The food was spectacular! Another thing, just before we left, our camera decided to give up the ghost... I think it was a good thing that there was a professional photographer there. I am sure we will get some good pictures.

Our drive home was trying , as my husband still had a temp. of 102 degrees. Not bad but still.... I do not drive , and we had a four hour drive home.

Today we had our flu shots, and had the dog groomed. She had been " At Camp" all the while we were away.

We have been missing our Thanksgiving turkey dinner. ( Canadian ) I think that we will be celebrating with our American neighbours this year !

It is so good to be home! Perhaps I will be able to play in my sewing room now.
Love & Hugs, Nadyne

Happy news with the wedding and being home to sew. I pray your husband's fever problem get diagnosed properly and treated. It must be so difficult for him. I agree with my Cute sisters that you learning to drive would be a good thing. I am still working on getting my son and future DIL to drive. As long as you are in good health you can do it!

Sorry to hear about ubby not feeling well again. Glad you could attend the wedding and had fun...Please learn to drive. IT will be handy if hubby gets sick and he can not drive. Suzanne

Nadyne, This fever thing seems to keep happening. Please, please go learn to drive! My aunt learned when she was nearly sixty, taught by her patient daughter, after her chauffeur, my uncle died. She said why didn't I learn this years ago. Take care of yourself now so you can have some independence. Just find a patient teacher! Now that I've fussed...

Glad the wedding was nice and hope you enjoy your sewing.

So glad it all went well Nadyne, even though your husband wasn't well. It's always nice to come back home and I hope you will be able to show us some pictures when you get some. Love and blessings Chris
