Yes, I have a 350E and you will be thrilled with this decision. A great little machine and mine has lots of "miles" on it. Take all the classes your store offers! Mine loves Robison-Anton thread. Different brands seem to prefer different brands of thread. Write me any time if you have questions, as you learn to do different things - regular designs, applique, free standing lace, quilting....

Welcome I have the 300E which is the same machine except mine uses a fash card instead of the USB,
A great work horse and simple to use. Would suggest you also get a thread stand. I use one at the side of the machine. Cost me about $8 Aust well worth it. You will be creating in no time.
Plenty of good advice on this site and remember no question is a silly one. I just love the Project page it is full on inspiration and ideas I would never have thought of.

Welcome to the Cute family. Do take any and all classes your dealer will offer you and buy good quality thread, stabilizer and fabric. Practice stitching and hooping and using the different types of stabilizer. And have fun. We are all addicted to embroidery and welcome you to our group too.

Let me be the first Aussie to welcome you to this great site. I too can't help you out with the brand of machine as I have Husqvarnas and a Brother. I'm sure there will be someone on here who can advise you of what you desire. Once again welcome to this great site and if you need to know anything check out the Q&A section at the top of this page and there are lots of postings there with helpful information. Love and blessings Chris, Newcastle, Australia.
