Pillows made with Yarn Embellishing Foot

Viking accessories were on sale, so I grabbed this new foot. There are only 6 stitches available now, so I used them all on these two pillows. One is a straight stitch, I stacked it under one of the other 5 stitches in the blue one (center).

I used Dritz pillow corner template to cut the fabric. They don't look square now, but supposedly, with pillow forms in them, they will look nicer without the "dog ears".

I got the itch for this foot. Thanks for showing. Both pillows are intriguing my interest for many things by seeing the stitches.

Thank you! Thought it'd be fun to use all the stitches.

I looked and is this the yarn couching foot by Pfaff? Or on Viking it is yarn embellishment foot? I have the couching and I can see these stitches and they as I said before got me inspired with project ideas.

For viking, it's the yarn embellishment foot that just came out. It can only be used for sewing and these are the only stitches they have so far. The stitches are available for downloading at their website.

I have the Viking yarn couching feet too, which can be used for sewing and embroidery. Sewing is mostly free motion. And you have to have the embroidery design specifically for this foot. There's two sizes, one for thinner yarn and one for thicker yarn. Those came out at least a year ago.

I don't know about Phaff though.

So glad you showed these, as this foot is on my wish list for my Pfaff CV, and I love how they turned out. Guess I will be going to my sewing store! Thought this foot is the one that can be used for embroidering with yarn too...but not sure. That is the one I want so bad. Yours is just beautiful and a great idea. Hugs and blessings.

The one that can be used for embroidery is yarn couching foot (actually 2 feet).

Phaff probably have different names, or different accessories to begin with.

These are really neat looking. I have that template too - and it does work well for preventing the dog ears.

Thank you! Good to know about the template. It's the first time I've used it.

Thank you! I never make pillows but that's kind of the thing you can use these stitches on...

It's not included on the machine. You can download the stitches on their website.
