My husband's job had a Bowling for Breast Cancer tournament this past weekend. Everyone got a free pink shirt, but I wanted something extra for our team, so I made Ribbons for us to wear.

Now that was a neat idea. Hope they raised lots of money/Lillian

I'm not sure how much they raised. I know it was $20 per person to bowl, and there were five people per team. At least 20 teams were bowling. Plus the raffles. This is the 1st year they've done this for breast cancer. The company also does bowling every year in March for MDA.

Well done. The ribbons add an extra touch for an event that helps so many.

The young couple and the little girl, I just met that day. The guy works with my husband (in the back, and my son is on the left) We did okay bowling. My high game was a 138. There weren't any big prizes this time for high score, etc. They did have some prizes. You got one ticket when you signed in, and then you could buy more. The money raised went to the breast cancer charity. We won a Grumpy lantern, and a small gas table-top grill.
