This coaster was a free one a couple of days ago from a bit of a stitch or something like that.

Another cutie and i were talking and she wondered if we could sew this design out on just the heavy plastic. The answer is NO not even on 2 layers of plastic .The design is to small and to tight Sooooooo next i tried fabric and one layer of plastic and IT WORKED:):)
This is another purple coaster for little ole me:):)
Thanks for LQQKING!!Hugs Carolyn

Carolyn you are one very smart lady to figure how to do this, I also got this one will have to try. Was it just fabric or would you suggest using felt on the back.. Marian

This is just the perfect coaster for you. Every once in a while we need to take time to make something just for ourselves so that we can enjoy the designs we stich too. I find it interesting that you put the plastic on top of the fabric. In your testing, did you try putting it on the back? Or was there a special reason why it is on top? In my house, it'd stay cleaner on top!
