Is there any site where I can buy Mickey Mouse embroidery designs? Legally of course. Or Mickey Mouse quilt designs. Great Grandson loves Mickey.

and if in doubt you can try the free cancer design that is offered to see if your machine will work. My machine is listed and it is not a Disney Machine. It is a (heavy duty) HE240 and I want to thank whoever asked the question because I didn't think my machine would work.

Before you can purchase and download a design, your machine's model and serial number will have to be "registered" on the site.

ty rescuer, this is not a problem for me..

Sorry, I meant "your" as in anyone. It will also help other's to go to the site and click on the machine they have to see which designs will work on their embroidery machine. If the design does not show when you do that -- it will not work with that specific embroidery machine.

I got in touch with the Disney site listed below and you cannot purchase any of their designs, unless you own a Disney machine and you have to live in the US, they do not sell to anyone outside of the US, even if you have a Disney machine...Turned me off, I must say...

The only legal site is the Brother one, see link.

Can you buy Disney designs from this site, if you don't have a Brother Machine. My GD loves anything Frozen so would like to buy something for her, but I don't have a Brother Machine.

I don't know. I have never bought from the site. The Frozen designs are lovely, aren't they.

jofrog2000 by jofrog2000 30 Sep 2014

No, the site is owned/run by Brother. They give you a list of machines and if you have one of those, you can buy a design.Think they might make it that only that machine will accept and sew the design out.

There is something in the software of the design/machines that allows only "Brother Disney" machines to stitch them out. A Brother machine that doesn't have the "D" in its name/numbers cannot stitch out the Disney designs.
Jerrib, if you lived in Sydney or close by, I would offer to stitch them out for you if you buy them. I have a Disney capable machine, but not interested in adding Frozen to my already bulging portfolio of Disney designs - no littlies!

As far as I know, ONLY BROTHER DISNEY machines will stitch out LEGAL Disney designs. If you have a Disney LEGAL PEDcard you have purchased, ONLY Brother D (Disney) machines will read them, other Brother machines WILL NOT READ THEM and WILL NOT stitch them out. If you purchase a Disney design from iBroidery, you must enter your machine and its serial number AND its machine number. It is VERY COMPLICATED purchase and installation procedure and to me it was VERY FRUSTRATING, but if you want Disney that (as far as I know) is the only legal way. I purchased a Frozen design, but I have not yet stitched it out. Good luck and let us know how it goes. God bless you.

There was a "Taste of Disney" card out years ago that was for any machine-probably to make you want to buy a Brother. Ibroidery designs will only work in the specific machines listed-not all are D-and is a file type that cannot be converted. If I want a design to use in my SE270,it's good I have PED Basic, since you need to use that to put the design on the card to use it. I had a "Cars" card and she did a great job sewing those. If I wanted one of those listed, I think I could manage a bit more work than click and buy.

I did get in touch with this site and not only do you have to have a Disney machine, they don't sell their designs outside of the US, even if you have a Disney machine.
