I am always amazed by what I learn @ the institute & today is no exception. One of the new things for me to have learned is how to grow my own Garlic. Which I hubby has just planted for me since you have to plant them in the fall not the spring time I will keep my fingers crossed that this coming spring I will have 10 large Garlic plants come up! Our instructor is so helpful & patient too.

I have to go get some. I was given a lot of "falling onions" and I can't find them online. I do love garlic. ooh and Asparagus. I think now is the time to plant it also.

If nothing eats them you will have your garlic and ea. yr. will bring more from the little bulblets that the large bulblets produce. Something has been digging some of mine up and eating them, Squirrel, chipmunk, rabbit, vole, don't know which but there is enough to go around./Lillian

I love that you grow your garlic. I planted chives in an outdoor pot several years ago and they are still growing. I just snip off a few when I need them. Kay
