Coloring Books. This may be a stupid question...

When you make machine embroidered coloring books, do you use washable crayons with them or something else that washes off or is it ruined after one coloring????

washable markers! Crayola is on sale now here for the start of school so this would be a good time to stock up.
Not a stupid question at all. My question is what you would make the pages out of??

I thought maybe just a heavy cotton but maybe that wouldn't hold still enough. I'll check out the markers, thank you.

What about blackboard fabric. You can use chalk, dry erase, chalk board markers ( look like other markers) and they all wipe off with damp cloth. The blackboard fabric can be embroidered on. I made some Christmas gift tags. Have fun!

Oh, excellent idea! I saw that once but don't have any. My daughter painted her refrigerator with blackboard paint. It looks great! I did see Home sew has blackboard fabric, I'll check. Thanks
