If there happens a mistake, I will get it, not the friend.

29748227Really pretty! I haven't tried basting the towel onto stabilizer. I always have a wrestling match getting the towel in the hoop :) I think that I will try basting next time. Your friend will be delighted, great work of love!

Thank you Nancy, my machine makes a bastingstitch if I need this, but did not know what to do with this before I learned that hooping of towels is difficult.

My biggest problem was, that I did not know, how to hoop it, but now I only stiched the towel with bastingstitches on the stabilizer and it works.

Hooping towels or anything thick can break your hoop. Much better to baste or stick.
