This duck you've made looks adorable& nice choice of fabrics too. Would enjoy hearing the sound It makes. Thanks for sharing it. :~D
Toogie this little duck is cute as. Thinking it came from this link ? Well done :)
It is super cute!!! I think the stuffing brings him a little more to life, Nora will love him either way.
I answered your comment a few hours ago....but forgot to hit submit-lol- What I HAD said was, I think Nora will like this better than the quilt and the duck looks like he over ate, he is stuffed, and now just needs to sleep.-lol
I know the feeling. lol! She will love them both, but the duckie will be more fun to play with, and so soft to touch.
Very Cute - I am sure Nora will love him! Can I ask where the pattern came from?
My file for the duck, just says stickdatien. It was probally a german site. The duck call was from sew forum. Maybe someone else remembers the site for the duck. Thanks
I know 1 website that has ducks like this. Not sure if it's from where you got the pattern...

That is precious, if you make another maybe you could put the tag in the beak like a tongue sticking out. :)
I think what I should do is stitch my name, closer to the right side of my hoop, or upside down on the left. That way it will be right, so I can stitch it on the opposite side of the duck, that it is on now.
It's cute, toogie. Nora will love it as it is.
Hugs, Lidia
I think it is so cute. I agree, just a little stuffing at most.
Looks great these do not need stuffing but if you decided to maybe a small amount in the head with a ribbon collar stitched to stop it moving as for the tag it's great and about the only place you can put it without it looking silly. Nora will love this!
Thank you, she loves anything with a tag. My daughter was desperate one time and gave her a clean dish towel, with a tag. Nora doesn't take a pacifer but she loves tags.I know I tried different placements of the label/tag and it would have been upside down on the other side, and the bottom looked like a tail.
Love him (and your comment) Toogie. I would cut a piece of thick batting the same size and 'stuff' him with that. He will not look right with too much stuffing. Sarah
I started to lay a sq of batting on him and restitch my last st, great minds think alike?-lol-Thanks Sarah
I think he's going to be her bedtime cuddle toy! So cute and colors and tag look great. Make a spare in case she wears it out? Oh, and can you trap the squeaker in a back foot? What fun!
I can't put the squeaker in the foot It is sewn up, when the back of the duck is stitched on. It's ITH and the bottom of the duck is left open, for turning right side out.
That is adorable!!!! Do you have any of that stuff that makes noise like in the books? It makes a crinkly sound. I would stuff it lightly if it were me if you don't have any crinkly. Nice job!
Thanks, I was just playing after they were picked up this evening. Don't have anything like you are talking about. Avery had a bought butterfly with that stuff. I had a little white minky, but it would have to be constantly washed, so I used the brown. I told her I was going to wet it and then she could clean the floors.-lol- She pushes it on the floor when she does crawl.
Toogie, I think this is so cute! It looks to be stuffed just from the fabric, I think it is alright as is. However if you wanted to put a 'little stuffing in the bird' it would also be cute. She will love this. Since she is walking I'll be she's exploring everywhere and then some! Too bad you don't have a squeaker to put inside it and you could keep track of her wanderings. Hugs Leaha
