Beautiful, you did hard work to make so much of them.
wow that is amazing...well done you ...the world needs more people like you ....xxx
I want to thank you, and your friend, for your time and talent, for such a worthy cause. Grannieannie
I admire you so much for taking on this huge project! Your gifts will mean so much to the breast cancer survivors.
Thank you. I have survivors in my family and those that lost the incredibly long battle as well. I felt it was the least I could do.
What a wonderful thing you have done! You were certainly very busy. How did you keep going after the first 100? I can never get past the 3 dozen hump.
I kept giving them to her in bunches. I didn't keep count -- she did. LOL
I also stopped anytime I couldn't remember what was next. The last week was a struggle...
Excellent work! I know your efforts will be appreciated.
Yowza!! What a terrific job you did..I can't believe that this project exploded into 300 of these babies! You are a trooper for sure...I love the choice of fabrics and I am delighted to be a very, very small part of this wonderful undertaking...Thank you, my friend!
Thank you so much for all you did (and do) for me and for making it so much easier for me to get it done. You are such a blessing to all of these ladies and to me. I would never have been able to do all of those without you!
omg what a wonderful job I have made only about 10 and I know thinking shears process was a marathon but 300 well done my dear cutie...soozie
Thank you.
On a bright note -- I did get to go shopping for fabric several times and I didn't pay for any of it. LOL
Dear Rescuer, what a wonderful collection of these beautiful nail files. Lovely fabric choices as well, and for such a worthy cause. Well done to you and Kim. Love and blessings Chris
P.S. In the second picture is that the whole 300?
Thank you Chris.
I think the second picture has all of them. I am afraid I was not there to finish inserting the nail files into the holders or for the photo.
Great job & I'm sure they will be appreciated. No matter how many you put in the hoop at a time it would have been a big job to get done. Well done.
You have done a wonderful job. Well done. Hugs sarah
Wonderful job!!! Well done! Hugs to you and Kim!! Laura*
Wow, that is is enough to need a new pair of scissors. You did a super duper job and then some.
OMG, what a feat to do 300 of these...they are terrific and love the variety of fabrics.....
Great job and I bet your glad they are finished. I don't think I could make 300 of anything. I that your sofa? I love it...
Hugs
Jerri
It is my friends sofa. She had the whole lot at once -- so she took the photos.
I am happy to be on to the next project...
This is a really large order and very worth while. Thank you for under talking this task. Your both deserve loads of Flowers. Colors are very pretty.
A job well done. Congrats to both you and dragonflyer. I love the colours. Shirley
Do the increased numbers mean that the treatments are working, therefore more surviving? Or does it mean the doctors are diagnosing more and more victims of this ghastly disease? Lovely job on the little gifts.
It means they told the doctors there would be gifts at the annual meeting...so more patients signed up.
Thanks for the compliment
Congratulations on finishing a mega project. Lovely work. I don't think I would take such a large job on so well done
It was a bit overwhelming when they doubled the need...but I made it and before the new deadline too.
You did an amazing job and the fabrics really look of life and spring. I'm sure you will have to make some more :o)
Greetings, Bettina
Thank you Bettina
My family thinks I should make them and sell them...I will have to think that one over for a while. At least a few months LOL
Wowwww such a huge collection of nail file covers!!!!! you really did a nice job making these. And, good for you to do such a nice thing for the Survivor's group!
It's lovely. How kind of you! I'm sure it will be much appreciated. These women really need a lot of support.
We were four together in the ward with mastectomies of a breast, and one woman had a mastectomy of both breasts. We were all treated by the same doctor. The operations were in beginning October 2005, and we saw each other regularly in the doctor's rooms.
In April 2006 (6 months after the operations) these women were still crying (literally crying) when we saw each other in the doctor's rooms. It seems as if breast cancer survivors really struggle to accept their new bodies.
So you are being very kind here. Well done!
WOW you did a wonderful job on all of them! I agree with Martine you must be glad to be done! Such a worthy cause too. ~hugs~
Well done, it looks great seeing them all together. I am so happy for you it's finished. It must be a relief to be able to think of something else!
wowwwwwwwwwwww that's a lot of repeat** repeat*** and you have done a great job .I am yet to make only one lol hugs
