I am guessing you have already had your cataract surgery. I hope everything has gone well. Isn't it great to see things you 'didn't know were there'. I love being able to see a pin that has accidentally made it's way to the carpet and the amazement in the eyes of anyone around as they say..'You mean you could see that!'. I remember when I had my surgeries in 2004 and came home after the 1st one...looked into the neighbors yard and saw his giant yellow dahlias. I had no idea how long they had been there..but I just knew I had to have some too. They were the most gorgeous flowers to me at the time. Best wishes and a speedy recovery to you.

The first think my mother said to me...' I didn't realize you had so much gray hair!...after hearing this all day told her if she wasn't careful I was going to take her back and have him but the cataracts back on!!!!! LOL It was truly amazing how much she was missing as it will be for you. Just do as the Dr.s command and you'll be right as rain. Prayers and Blessings your way. Leaha

I hope you have a fast recovery on your eyes. I had glaucoma surgery on both eyes last October. One eye took about 3 weeks to see clearly, the other in just a couple of days. Everyone I know that had the cataract surgery was seeing good within 2 days. Wishing you the best.

Thankyou so do I. My right eye will be the worst as it has some damage to it from when I was young. Plus I have a bad needle phoba, my blood preasure is going up thinking about it bot the specialest says I'll be fine just like the laser treatment.

I had cateract surgery last year on both eyes. The evening of the first surgery I could read the newspaper, the phone book, thread a needle and play the piano without glasses. You will enjoy it.

Thankyou. Yes 3 different drops 1drop each ,4 times a day starting the day before. Tried to do some hand sewing I Jan & daughter told me that the stitching was what I used to make her unpick & redo & the colours didn't match, so I went to see a friend & she said go to a eye Doc & also read the street signs as I go, I asked her why? she said that I wouldn't be able to see them & I told her I didn't need to read the signs as I know where I'm going when I go to town, she said read them anyway as I will feel better about going all the way to the Doctors. yes I did & I couldnt get to the Doctors quick enough. How things creap up without you realising it. Having trouble read the street sign get your eys checked

I'm having mine done in May so I'm excited to see again! I'm so tired of everything being so dark! The new lenses are made in the USA!

Over the last 3 months I have been realy looking about only to find that the wind generators that I could see the blades turning or not wern't there unless the sun was shining on them so I'm looking forward to that again & to see the bush better & also th see the birds as well as hear them, I thought that they had been hiding from me.

Hope everything goes well. My sweetie was so pleased with his surgery. He was reading all the street signs on the way home as I was driving. I am still using contact lens that don't get it. Kay
