Todays learning result @ the Brain Injury. I made this today! All by myself! I love it! It is a magnetic anklet. It has health benefits that are extensive: an alternative treatment for ailment due to trauma, accident, or physical pain. (not to be used if pregnant or have a pace maker) I put it on & walked to my car I when I got out of my car I thought mmmm... my knee feels better. It has been giving me considerable pain of late & as I came into the house I was swinging it back & forth something I could NOT do for the last 3 weeks? I am wearing it on the same leg that the knee was hurting on so it works & very fast too. I am still suspicious so will see if it actually does what we were told it could do in the coming days.I wonder if any cuties have worn or still wear a magnetic bracelet or anklet & if so how did you or do you find it?

Your anklet looks very pretty, If it works for you that is terrific O tried magnets in a knee brace a few years ago but they didn't help. Maybe it does for some and not for others.. Either way it looks great..

Dear Loralye,

I love the colours in your anklet and I also love the Amber stone and Agate too that you will be doing soon.

Congratulations on doing so well with all your therapy Loralye. You inspire so many of us to keep on trying.

As Leaha says never say never and never give up. I love the picture of the Frog and the Pelican! Love Chris

My cousin was so sold on the magnets for her arthritis, she began selling them! And I had a co-worker who was comvinced a bracelet helped her arthritic hands. Either way, it's pretty.

Loralye, I have been making magnetic bracelets and anklets for years. But, don't hate me on this part, I do not believe in their "powers". What we have available to us is not strong enough to do any real good. So, why do I make them? Because I love the look of them, especially the doubles and it's fun. Hugs..Carol

Well the instructor tied mine for me & she did not tie it tight enough so it came apart but fortunately I was there when it happened so I had to start all over again. I'm pretty sure I could make another on my own except for the tying off part but it takes so much of my concentration I am not @ the fun part until it is all done & I see what I have made. If my knee is better all by itself well that's ok too but I think it has more to do with the type of surgery that I had? It is common @ The Brain Injury where I go that we all seem to have a lot of static electricity in our bodies & the magnets help take some of that away & for me that is a very good thing.

I am still moving my leg to see if it hurts & I am very surprised that it does NOT! She did say that it may work right away for some but could take up to 2 weeks for others or might not work at all for some?

The silver rectangle is pewter & both the black & the blues are magnetic beads. We could pick from a wide variety of colours, I chose 2 & all the others followed suit! They al turned out so pretty.

will it help out your wrist? Our instructor told us to put it close to where the pain is......we were going to make bracelets but many of us made the anklet since we have either leg or foot or lower back pain. If you have hand to shoulder & neck & head then you make a bracelet. I figured since I will have the head pain for a while yet maybe it would get rid of my knee pain so far so good? Also another class we will be taught about the Baltic Amber stone & something called Agate so I may be able to make a bracelet from those?
