Hi all Cuties

You have given me so much joy reading the things you create, and sharing in your little jokes. I just want to thank you all for the pleasure you gave me. I feel very guilty in asking for help for myself, but my medical pension stops paying at the end of June, and I am in a dire financial position.

Please, can all of you pray for me for my finances to improve so I can support myself again?

Thank you for reading this.
Best Regards
Anneliese

I understand some of this & I will add you to my prayer list. If I may make a suggestion: There are wonderful support groups out there find one that suits your needs even if it's online. People that are going through the same as you understand & can relate too you in ways that others can't. It opens up a new world for you. ~hugs Loralye~

My prayers are for you. Keep doing your embroidery as I find it to be a great therapy when other things are troubling us. Lets us forget for awhile and feel normal.

Thank you.

I do not know what I would have done without my embroidery machine. I get withdrawal symptoms if the machine is not in the same apartment (preferably the same room!) as I.

I worked in the UK 12 years ago, and could not take my embroidery machine with. I literally cried when I saw one in shop! Yes, you guess right, the machine went home with me the very same day.... I still have it - A Brother Galaxie 2100.

Have a great day.

Sorry to hear you have had a hard time of it.
'Invisible' problems are hard for others to see... When I had RSI in both arms, I sometimes wished I had 2 broken arms so people could see that I couldn't do things. Luckily God said NO to that request.
This is good place to blow off steam, so you are welcome. A person needs a safe place to do that.
I learnt over 30 yrs ago that different folk need different amounts of prayer for their individual problems/illnesses. So keep going up for prayer and asking for friends to prayer for you until God tells you to stop. And keep trying to overcome, the effort will do you good even if it doesn't feel like it is.
It took me over 3 yrs of research and fighting with the doctors to get myself on the right meds. It was my research, my ideas and my insistence that put me on the correct amount of medicine. The specialist just checked my workings and agreed it might work. Anthe year till I will know for sure if it is rght for me. At present I am trying out using turmeric for pain relief. Already use cinnamon for my hot flushes.

Thank you for kind words.

I need prayers because of my financial situation. Soon I will no longer be able to afford any of my medications, which I need to function at all.

My thoughts are with you and I hope that those around you will begin to understand the new person that you have become and that this person is just as beautiful and productive as the one they knew before.n And with their support and understanding a whole new world and relationship can grow between all involved.

Anneliese, you are in my thoughts and prayers. It's very difficult to stay positive when things seem all wrong, but have faith everything will be fine. I'm also struggling to pay my son's university, but I know it will be for more 3 years, then we can have peace again. God bless you, Yoriko

Thank you. My son just has finished his degree part time, he paid for it himself. Now he wants to do a honors degree, but it is very expensive, and so far, with having to help me, he could not yet start the new degree.

I also do not know if he will ever stop studying, we will have to see. But he takes sensible degrees, with subjects that can help him to advance in his job.

I am very proud of him - he took 9 subjects last year and worked horrible hours, and lost his grandmother to whom he was very close, and he passed!

Good luck with your son's studies.

Thank you again for your prayers.

Sounds like your son is blaming you for everything! I do hope he's not berating you! It's so difficult having chronic pain that others can't see for they don't believe you no matter what the doctors say. I will keep you in my prayers for pain relief and also for an improvement in your finances. Are there any government sponsored programs that can help? I'm sure you've probably checked everywhere for help. I feel so badly for you. I offer my prayers and ask Jesus to help you for it is all I can do. May God and His angels hold you close and shield you from further pain and upset.

I too will be praying for you. I will pray that our Lord will give you the strength you need to get yourself out of this situation you are in, so that you can heal and live the life you want to live. I will pray for courage for you to face those who criticize you. And I will pray for wisdom for you so you can see the path that God has for you, so you will know what God has planned for you. May our Lord bless you and your son during this difficult time. With love and understanding, Jan

Anneliese, what a beautiful name. You also have added (ans) smile in your avatar name. The fact that you can smile is a miracle in itself. It makes me very sad to hear of your plight. A 24 year old (especially a male) is very immature, and can't possibly understand what you go through. I can't imagine having to rely on him and how it must make you feel, but I'm thankful that you have him and that he's willing. He was a gift!
I'm honored to be able to add my prayers to those here in your behalf. I'm praying for further healing, understanding from those who are around you and from that, more help from them. Hugs and blessings,
Jerrilyn

Thank you so much for your kind words.

Yes, my son was a miracle from God and I am very blessed that my son is willing to help me. I understand his frustrations, as he has to help me financially and he does not have a big income. I prayed for years to get pregnant.

Hopefully he will make peace with my current abilities and love for embroidery...

When I just became ill, I could never find my car. I had problems with my eyes and a white car was a white car was a white car, regardless of the make. So I placed huge (very, very large!) black bold letters on the back of my car - SMILE! For years everybody in the neighborhood knew about SMILE. And I could find my car with ease.

And the word made everybody stop and smile, and talk to me for a while. And it is inoffensive, regardless of religion or race.

When I got divorced, I wanted to change my surname to Smile as well. Currently I have to spell my surname all the time, and my maiden name was as bad. I would get somewhere for an appointment, and when I announce myself, they would look down, find a huge blank space, and say "There you are!" But my son threaten to disown me if I change my surname to Smile, so I had to drop the idea.

But I am still considering it. Short, sweet, and everybody likes it. And everybody knows how to spell it.

And hopefully something will happen so I can earn a reasonable income again...

Thank you again for your prayers.

Oh thank you very much for your kind words.

I'm in South Africa, and we have a lot of really poor people here. So the churches can't really help, except to offer prayers. And you need an income, even for low income housing. My income simply can not afford it.

Thank you again for your kind words and prayers.

It is only faith that kept me going so far. People kept on telling me there is something wrong with my faith, that's why I can not get my health back. That makes so very angry, because I believe that if you ask for something, and it is God's will, you will get it, but if God has other plans for you, you will not get it.

And God helped me a lot in my life.

Thank you for your prayers.

Anneliese, this is a long and sad story of life you tell us. It nearly makes me crying but I better will pray for you - hope there will be some light and good things happening for you because you had enough of the worse. By the way, you have a German name but probably you live in the states? Maria

Hi,

I am from South Africa. My name was made up by my mother, using a combination of her and my grandmother's names. I am very thankful my father put his foot down and refused to let me have my grandmother's names - she had a long string of them! Just imagine having to fill out three names and your surname on every form you fill in...

Thank you for your prayers - I need them. Today and yesterday were some of my worse days - otherwise I would not have bothered you guys. But I am desperately in need of prayers...

Thank you again. God will help me (as always).
Best Regards
Anneliese

What a terrible situation to be in especially when you are having some stress induced issues......I can't even imagine not being allowed to be myself and because embroidery is an extension of all of us here, it can keep the mind and body healthy....I feel that to deny you of something that can be therapeutic is abusive, is there any way you can get one of your doctors to speak with your son to explain to him how important it is to have an outlet for your pain and mental well being? Will hold you in my prayers, Anneliese..........

Dear Anneliese......I understand issues with the brain as 12 years ago I had a concussion from an accident...prior to the accident I was a financial administrator for a fast track company...went to work 3 weeks after the accident and I forgot how to function at my job....I sat at my desk and cried......I had never owned a sewing machine and had no desire to learn prior to my head injury...after a few months of healing I realized I had a need to create things that I never had an interest in before....I understand what you are saying about looking fine on the outside, but it is another story on the inside.....I pray that you will find the strength to get through this period and I pray that your son & family will have more patience and understanding with you...

I do believe in miracles, my son is one. I went into early menopause when I was about 22, but the doctors diagnosed it as stress. My son was born when I was 30, after a struggle of years to get pregnant. When I went to the doctors when he was 6 months old, to start treatment so he can have a little brother or sister, I was told I had absolutely no egg cells left as my reproductive thingies were already all shrivelled up and gone.

My son was a gift from God, I believe he was the very last egg cell left!

I had no memory, and struggled to get from place to place as I could not even recognize the area I stayed in for 20 years. I had to use a wheel chair when I went shopping. I stood up in church 5 times to have people pray for my health, and prayers and God's love and compassion gave me back my memory and I do not have to use a wheel chair anymore. (I still have short term memory issues, but that is for new stuff. My long term memory is mostly back).

So I strongly believe in prayers and miracles. Thank you for praying for me!
Best regards.
Anneliese

Anneliese, the power of prayer is very strong - go back and keep going back for prayer. Sometimes it takes a lot of prayer & other times it takes only one prayer. Only God knows which is the right level of prayer for you.
God be with you. Pat
