Here is the 2nd project I worked on today....this is on the back of a fleece vest........she is called Garden Angel Appl..I used a piece of denim from my mom's old jeans for the applique and I didn't cut it close so it would fray a tad..

What a good idea! I like your design too. And using something of your mom's is a fantastic idea.

Beautiful work as all yours is and love the old jeans idea I have made tissue holders from past on loved ones clothing just to have something of theirs close .

wonderful design you just keep out doing your self each one is better that the last .

This Angel is just terrific Vicki. I'm so sorry your Mum is not with you anymore. I'm impressed that your Mum wore jeans. I never wear jeans and I think my Mum did have some back in the sixties! We both wear black stretchy type fabric trousers! Love Chris

my Mom never wore jeans either but at 70 my brother bought her a pair with studs etc. and told her she would look like a million dollars and she put them that day just for us all :):) hugs
