Fabulous Tutorial. I find this a great benefit when you are learning something new...your designs look really delicate...mind telling me who's designs are these.
Danke Carolyn. Mit dieser Anleitung gelingt es sicher! Gruss Madeleine
Carolyn - your 'tutorial' will be so very useful to some of our Cuties.
simply georgous I am going to have a look now at the site...soozie
Great job! Nice job of showing all instructions with pictures, I am sure this will help all cuties who have not done FSL before, thanks for taking the time to do this for all of us...Hugs!
When I first seen these I thought they would look great as drop ear-rings! but I see you have attached a ribbon so are they a hanging ornament?
they look great either way
Karen :)
They are beautiful Carolyn, I've not had much luck with fsl in the past. I find the needle "cuts" the plastic WSS as it stitches, I'll have to have another go, I've given up on it, but I feel inspired to try again after looking at all your wonderful fsl.
Margie, when that happens to me, I strategically place a very short piece of the green plaid dull finishf Scotch tape to hold it together and keep stitching. I try to tish out all the tape when finished.
use your scrape pieces under it also if it looks to be cutting the wws just add more underneath it and keep sewing ok???
It comes in several thicknesses, i have rolls of 20 micron -that for on top - 35 and 60 micron. The latter one is ideal for fsl and you can't tear that away nor does the bneedle cut it away, you need scissors to get that done. And it takes a long soak to dissolve.
Thanks for sharing this good photos and how to do them L Sherene X
Great photos Carolyn! Love the Criswell lace angels, too.
