Just so u know, I may not comment a lot and haven't added any more pics since the first batch i posted but i do come to visit on pretty much a daily basis and love the site! I have learned sew much just reading the posts and want to thank each and every one of u for the inspiration you give! I will be finished working on the 13th of this month and then on the 24th, I go in for a total hip replacement. So after i am recovered from that, I hope to be able to get a lot more sewing/embroidery done and will post more pics. Hoping i will feel up to following cute shortly after my surgery!

Most of the time, though, it's all been covered by the time I read it. I'm afraid I've posted no projects though as I seem to give them all away before I remember to take a picture.

If a person doesn't like what is offered than can always go elsewhere. I came here for the free designs. Saw a cute snowman and decided to investigate and stayed.
I have noticed that some folk just buy the whole set when an alphabet or a series starts and good on them. I have missed a few of the freebies in the sets and if I really want them I can always buy the individual designs or the set. I feel like I have embroidery designs coming out my ears so am not downloading any more unless something comes up that I really MUST have... :-)
But saying that I still come back most days to read the posts. Love being here and seeing what everyone is doing in embroidery and their lives. I am a newbie on this site and at machine embroidery only been doing it for just over two years now.
A big thank you to the folk who provide the Cute opportunity to me.

I used to talk to my husband about different Cuties and what they were going through at the time as if they lived next door. He was quick, it didn't take him long to know all the names of my Cute family!!! I miss him so much and it will be a year on the 14th of March that he went to Heaven, (Sorry for the side trip), but you know, we are family! All different, but the same! But, at first, it was the freebies that kept drawing me back - I was very thankful for them! Then I started spending more time on here and reading as many posts as I could and then there's the Projects - wow! - what an inspiration!
Since then I have had so much help - sometimes not by a question I have asked but one someone else has asked that gave me information that I didn't know I needed (suprisingly).
I rarely go to other sites as there is so much here and thanks to the cuties I have learned a lot and come a long way in this new(still) hobby. Love all the help and info and any newbie should realize how much they can benefit from this site with freebies the icing on the cake!

5271As a fairly long time "lurker" and new poster I have always been impressed by the civility (sp?) and kindness exhibited on this site. I am not one to post a lot and do not have the time to play with my machines that I thought I would have once retired. It seems there are less hours in the day than when I was working full time. But I wouldn't trade chasing my beautiful granddaughters now for all the machine time in the world.
I do so appreciate all the work of Miss Veronika and the moderators. Even if there were no freebies associated with this site I would continue to visit and occasionally post.

Everyone is so giving with help when it is needed, sometimes I don't need to ask a question cause someone else has the same problem and I find the answer. I give flowers profusely as a way of saying thank you.

I am happy to see this post this morning as I have to admit that I have been feeling uneasy and uncomfortable with some of the commentary on here lately which is directed to mostly new cuties. I have read some recent posts and thought if I were a ''newbie'', I would not be attracted to stay here or come again for a visit. I realize that there may be some frustration on behalf of some ''oldie's'' but I think words should be chosen wisely, with a little diplomacy and respect should be offered as this is an open forum and displayed for all to see.
This is the exception to the rule as we all know how great this ''cuties'' site is but for someone visiting for the first time to come across some of the comments is a definite turnoff IMO.
So thanks for this, yesterday I was disheartened and today my joy at being a cutie has been restored.

You are soooooo lucky....Mine grands are 500 miles away and we are fortunate to see them every 2-3 months,,,,Love it and THEM!!!!!!!!!! And the gdaughter asks when she can learn to sew:):):) Mom knows how to do basics---I taught her the basics--she has picked up many things on her own---but no time---works 6 days a week at home--3 kids to chase and run---and husband working on college degree--night school---running 3 kids--cooking---they are young--wish we were closer but not possible at this time!!!God bless you..

Carol, many of us have been at this awhile and we all have something new to learn! I've been at it over 6 years and just now getting into ith projects. Just go at your own pace and don't be afraid to try something new. Learning is not just for newbies! lol

Carol there was a posting very recently of someone ... about not getting the free designs that they wanted. They had posted a few times before and each time made the same comment. No further postings from them. I am sure that this posting is for such people. I too am still learning and will do forever

I have been machine embroidering for about 10 years---ALWAYS learn something new EVERY TIME I visit Cute. I have been at it a long time, but I NEVER stop learning and trying new things. It is very addictive and fun and TIME-CONSUMING:):):) NEVER A DULL MOMENT!!!!!!! It's always too much to do and not enough time to do it in. God bless you,

Yes, CUTE is the best and you all are what gets me going each day. I found this site initially for the freebies but soon came to love Cuties and mostly forget the design aspect. The love and encouragement are what draws me here now
