This is an awesome idea especially for those of us without the modern goodies.....no dishwasher:( But I do have a cool double-decker dish drainer that something like this would be great under. thank you and you did a lovely job
I've got a couple of these drying mats at the dollar store. Never thought about embroidering them...slipping I guess...we're suppose to automatically think "I can embroider that" right. LOL
Muffy :)
Very cool project! I love the quilt that you have this on too! I have one of those drying mats I bought at a store and love it. I'll have to experiment and try stitching on it, or maybe just cover one side of it. Can you buy PUL at Joann's
I love the stippling patterns (circles, hearts, etc.) you have used in your projests! Where do you find them?
Very pretty and novel. Thanks for posting. You are so talented.
What a good idea. Very nicely done. Really good use of the designs!
Excellent as always Michelle. You have such a creative mind.
Hugs

excellent combo again! I really appreciate functional pieces and I think this one is the best I have seen in a while, even hang to dry.
Love these. I also make my drying mats/ cloths for when I take items out of the dishwasher
Very creative! I like the use of the PUL fabric.
For those that have never encountered the fabric -- it is used mostly for cloth diapering and it is a gentler water-resistant fabric than plastic because it is soft and breathable. "PUL" (Polyurethane Laminate) is a fabric laminated with waterproof polyurethane on the back. (I am not sure if it is really waterproof but it is listed as waterproof)
This is a really neat idea. I love the designs. Would you please educate me as to what PUL fabric is? Thank you.
I am with Leaha. I don't know what PUL fabric is. But beautiful job and what a terrific idea!!!
I believe it's a non-toxic plastic lining that you can use in making items that touch food or things without contamination.
Muffy :)
I see the info posted in rescuer's comments, no further explanation needed other that to say that yes it really is 95% waterproof.
Very pretty! Neat idea, the prettiest dish mat I've seen!
I think this is a great idea! You did a terrific job, as usual! The colours would look great in my kitchen!
Hugs, Nadyne
