Hi, just wanted to say, I'm enjoying browsing this site. The talent and beautiful designs, projects and crafts are amazing to me. Is everyone on this site a digitizer? Thank you to the Owner for this encouraging site.

Leaha, Welcome to Cute! I'm so glad you are joining us! I've only been doing embroidery for about 6 years but I do not know how to digitize. That is reserved for some of the more ambitious and talented ladies and gents here. We have folks from everywhere here and it quickly becomes family. The other day I had difficulty lownloading a free design and one of the sweet dolls here sent me a pm to ask if I'd managed to get it. I had, but the thought behind it just warms my heart! We all tend to have other interests besides machine embroidery and often share our thoughts and ideas about them as well as our embroidery stuff. Ms. Veroniks is so good to us here! She tolerates us!!! lol I know you will love it here and hope to see some of your projects posted on the projects page. It does not matter if you think they are bad, we love pics! Often projects are a whole lot better than we give ourselves credit for. I am my own worst critic and there are others here like me. There is no one near me who does machine embroidery so I've had a ton of help from the wonderful Cuties to answer questions and make comments. I'm not alone anymore. I live in the central part of New York State in the USA but many different countries are represented here. Have fun and happy stitching!

Thanks for the welcome. I purchased my machine the last day of 2008 managed to take the get acquainted lessons and was promptly sidetracked away. Now I am attempting to reacquaint myself and do embroidery. Being your own worst critic is a hazard to all my crafts.
I'm also amazed at the locations of some of the people. I'm smack in the middle of the USA and it's amazing to me that I can talk with someone in Australia, or Europe or wherever. What fun. From all I've read here Ms Veronika's toleration of everyone is very easy for her to handle, everyone is so nice and friendly.
I will gladly try and post things, but that's a job husband will have to help me with as I haven't much understanding of this yet. He's my computer tech, sewing machine tech,...well you get the picture.

Welcome from me too! As Dennis said earlier, the more you put into this site, the more you will get out of it! To help you along, I suggest you read through the posts in the link below. That will help you to learn how the site works.
Ask as many questions as you like and please share your projects with us!

Thanks Miss Sue, I've been going into the q & a section, reading this and trying to understand how this site works. It a very interesting conglomeration. I hope to participate more fully as I go along, I'm not familiar with a lot of things on the computer, but have my own tech so that will help. May I say you have lovely designs and I am looking forward to trying a few of them. I shall check the above out in a few minutes. Thanks, again

Enjoy - by the way, you have had an embroidery machine for longer than I have!

Welcome to the site. As you have already noticed this is a very mixed group not only geographically, but also with very different interest, but embroidery is what we have in common. I bought my first embroidery machine in 1992, and found this site 15 years later - I now realise writing this I've been doing ME for 22 years and machines and their possibilities have changed enormously over those years. Others find the site when they are just starting ME and find a lot of advise here.
I hope you'll share some of your projects!

Hi and Welcome to Cuties! You have found quite the unique place. We all come for the embroidery, but stay for much more than that! I have not only learned to use my embroidery machine, but have found a place of great friendship and support. I used to get really nervous when I stitched a design too! There are a whole lot of animal lovers here. I'm one of the cat lovers, so I'm posting my favorite animated gif right here, right now for you! Now you know you are Welcomed! Hugs, Jan

Hi Leah, it's a great site isn't it? I'm not a digitiser but I know one personally he he he! And she is only a 40 minute drive from me and a member on here.

Veronika is the owner of this site and her avatar is test. No capitals no inverted commas. For example your avatar is Leaha (you have a capital L) my avatar is pennifold (which is my last name, no capitals). So whenever you want to write to someone personally - up the top of the page there is a tab called Inbox, you click on that and type the person's avatar in the Name box and then below write your message.

Once again, welcome to this wonderful site where someone is on here 24 hours a day. I hope you stay around a long time. Love and blessings Chris, Newcastle, Australia.

Thank you, this brings up the question of how do I go about getting my capital letter removed? Are you suggesting I contact test and ask her to do this or may I do this myself? I had noticed everyone had none caps after the fact. Thanks again I know I have lots to learn and that's greatly needed.

mops by mops 24 Feb 2014

Why would you want to get rid of the capital? It just happened that some have them and oters are lower case.

Thank you for the welcome. I guess I'm so amazed at all the beauty here I didn't think to say anything about myself or interests.
I am attempting to learn and do embroidery, purchased my embroidery machine in 2008. Life got in the way (elder care giving) and I'm now attempting to master this craft...at the moment most of the times it still masters me! :p
I dabble in and have done lots of crafts, this is my current love/hate relationship. I'm still a nervous wreck whenever the machine is running. I'm not totally inexperienced just very rusty. Yet at the same time fascinated by the magic it is able to do.
Thank you again for the welcome, I really appreciate this.

A warm welcome to you to the Cutie site. The Cuties here are probably the most kind, understanding and helpful people that you could in the embroidery, quilting and crafting world. They must be kind, thoughtful and understanding, since they let me in!

You will find that the site is blessed by many experienced ladies, experts in their own fields, whether that be digitizing, quilting, crafting, sewing and so on.

You will also find many of the Cuties have interests outside of embroidery, etc., the result of which is that you will find posts relating to garden plants, wildlife and all manner of other subjects.

Above all, the Cuties are highly supportive of each other in respect of personal and moral issues and, of course, any particularly private matters may be discussed with others via the Private Message system.

The extent that you get out of the site and its members will always be in direct proportion to the extent that you involve yourself in the activities of the site.

Welcome again.

My interests are so varied, I have knitted, crocheted, tatted, hand embroidered, sew, flower arranging, moge poge, paper crafting...Jill of all trades and master of none. I just enjoy trying to learn new things. My biggest desire is to be able to embroider with a machine and understand what I am doing and why.

Welcome to Cute. I am glad you enjoy the browsing here and hope you will stay around for a long time. Like the comments before, most of us do not digitize but we are lucky to have some very talented digitizers belong to this site. The owner is so supportive as you can see just by checking out the different tags. I am so grateful to her. Again WELCOME

I guess the reason I felt that everyone was a digitizer is for all the designs and variety. Thank you
