Here is a simple baby quilt I did last year for Kylei. It has fabrics from a previous baby quilt for my very first granddaughter and added to it for the bugs. I had gotten the pattern from Moda bake shop which the link is here. It is super easy to do, there are other snug bug quilt photos others have made that are super cute on the moda bake shop flicker page link.

The thing about it, I was driven by the pattern, no points to match, not as fancy but so easy! Thank you! Hugs!

Thanks Toogie! You know I tried to hand embroider on it, and didn't realize how hard that is. I'm certainly spoiled with machine embroidery. I did well to get swirls on the lady bug wings. lol!

Hahaha! I have lots of projects I would like to do or get done, myself. So I can identify with pieces. Thank you for the compliment!

Thank you very much! I wanted a fancier meandering quilt but for lack of knowledge and sewing skills went very basic. Maybe someday!

Very cute. I love striped bindings done that way. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks Karen! It was the priciest part of the quilt but only needed half a yd I think. The green was on clearance for $2 a yard. Most of the pieces were leftovers, and the ladybugs were new too.

Thanks Loralye and hugs too.
This one went very fast, once I got every thing picked out, otherwise I may still be working on it. lol! There is another baby to sew a quilt for and so far I've just done burpies and that's it. I'm so bad.

Thank you very much! I originally was looking for white but the variable shades of green kind of caught my eye.
