A couple of weeks ago, my husband and I hosted a card night. We were 20 people. It was a potluck style. I really wanted us to have fun. I made aprons for my guests to use while helping in the kitchen. I needed to come up with something. So, I used puppy disposable training pads. Each apron had embroidery on them. Once the apron was used, and if it was soiled it went in the garbage. The whole idea was to have fun. We sure did as each person chose their own.

What a fun Idea. Is there plastic on the back of the pads? I don't have puppies just seen the packs at the shop and walked straight past. These would be a fun gift for cousin and her friend who are doing dried fruit at the moment. She was telling me what a mess she gets in.

Yes there is a plastic at the back. All I did was use my pinking shear to give a cute edge but you don't have to do that. The dimension is just perfect. Just sew ribbon on each side and voila you have an apron. They even fit large frame men.

Now, that was my original idea. I don't have many original ideas as there is always someone ahead of me with the idea.

I've never tried to embroider on wood but now looking at the video I'm tempted. Thanks grace.

Just goes to show, embroiderers will try to stitch on anything. Have you seen the lady from Floriani with embroidery on balsa wood????
