20276Lovely design and very pretty colour combination; you must need a very steady hand to cut around it all so neatly; looks great; the main thing that worries me with cut work is trying to use scissors to do all that trimming without accidentally damaging the beautiful stitching.

Thank you! I have never done cutwork before and haven't done it now. The only fabric I have cut is close to the outline, just before the final satin stitch.

Thank you, Martine, and.... yes, I think I was supposed to cut the inside of the curlicues, but I didn't do it, it's something that I have never done. The only fabric I cut has been the outline, just before the final satin stitch.

I realise that I have not expressed myself clearly. The design is cutwork but I did not stitch it as a cutwork, that's why you can't see the CW! lol....
