This amazing Cute Community of ours.

Just a couple of days after Christmas I emailed some of my Cute Sisters in Stitching to ask for their help. I wanted to make a quilt for my Friend Ann (scottie0930) who is unwell. Within 3 days, (including a Sunday) the first beautiful square came through my letter box and by the end of last week I had enough to complete the quilt.

I took it to Ann this afternoon and she was blown away by the love and generosity of our Cute family. She asked me to post a picture (going into projects very soon) and she will add her own post as soon as she has internet access.

I sincerely hope that some of the 9000 daily visitors who visit this site will read this thread and realise how amazing this community is and get an idea of what they are missing by not becoming a part of it.

Thank you all for your amazing generosity and love from Ann and from me.

A big 'thank you' to Sue and all those Cuties who were able to support the project in such a generous and timely fashion.
As has been said, you just couldn't ask for, nor find a better worldwide community as is available here.

The finished quilt looks amazing. I am so glad that Ann has received her blanket. Thanks for asking me to contribute a square and Cute is a wonderful place to come and share so much, much more than embroidery

It is so nice to know that Ann had received her "poorly quilt" and I hope she feels uplifted every time she sees it and when she wraps herself up in it, she will feel all of our arms wrapped around her giving her our love, strength and support. Thank you for undertaking this labor love and for allowing me to be a part of it...

the quilt is special in another way as the block i embroidered was the last thing my husband saw at home and he thought it was just wonderful
Thank you Sue for all your hard work in collecting and sorting the blocks to give a nice effect. If love could make Ann better then she would be racing around today because that quilt is filled with love and prayers.

Sue you did an amazing job on this, a real labour of love and the number of fellow Cuties who responded to your request is a testament to the love we all feel for both you and Ann.
Here's hoping this will be the boost Ann needs to help her on the road to complete recovery.
Hugs n love, Meganne
