I was just sent a picture of Denmark in the horrific thing they do every year to the dolphin...what an outrage...I would post a link showing this so you could pass it on to help stop this nonsense, but it is so disgusting and tearful at the same time....you can get it from my facebook page...WAKE UP DENMARK...Dolphins are precious and don't deserve this...

Not a single animal has to be slaughtered on a horrific way. Even if it's necessary to kill the animals, for surviving it still can be done on a less cruel horrific way....

IMHO killing any animal, for whatever reason is barbaric and unnecessary.

I am pleased that you did not post the picture. People have to hunt in order to survive - it is just the way it is sometimes done that is so upsetting.......

Went looking on my own and came across this well written article entailing why this is done and where. It isn't in Denmark but an isolated island and the meat is used to sustain the island people through the winter and not for a profit. Does it make it right or wrong ~ I don't know ~ but everyone can have their own opinion.

I read this article...however the picture I saw was gruesome and did not use harpoons as the article states...it was done and shows differently than what is explained there....
