I hope he can come home tomorrow, that will be great news!
I'm praying Sarah that perhaps by now a DX has been made. He'll soon be to rights again/hugs Lillian
Sarah so sorry to hear about Ben. Hope he gets better soon. Hugs and love Yvonne xxx
Sending prayers for Ben. Hugs for you and Georgie. Stay strong.
Thank you Stella - I think the parents have had most of the worry. It is always so exhausting when little ones are not well.
Oh! dear Sarah, I've only just seen this post. I do pray that Ben is doing o.k. now. I see that Charlotte has rung you to say that he is doing better. Lovely to see the concern on Georgie's face. It's always a worrying time being in hospital with children. Prayers have been said for him to be fully healed. Love Chris
When my Alex was 3 - he got a secondary infection from the Chicken Pox - his neck swelled up - and was in the hospital for 5 days on IV antibiotics. It was a scary scary time - but, the medicine took care of it and he barely remembers any of it. (I haven't forgotten though!!!). I also have twins and I know and understand that sweet concerned look on Georgie's face. (I bet she didn't want to leave Ben!) Bless her heart!!! The doctors will figure this out and the adults will never the forget the scaryness - but, the children will barely remember it!!! You and your Ben, Georgie and whole family are in my thoughts and prayers!!! Keep us informed!!! Hugs, Laura
Thank you Laura - you have made me feel a whole lot better before I go to bed. Hopefully I will sleep better tonight.
I am praying for a speedy recovery for Ben. It is so hard when our little ones are ill. Hope they find out what is wrong and cure it quickly. Hugs, Mary
It's been over eight hours since you posted and went through all the comments to see if there was an update on his condition. Georgie has a concerned look. Hope they are able to make a diagnosis of what caused the fever and swelling. Sending prayers for Ben. Hugs for you as the distance is too far to travel and the waiting on how he is doing must be dreadful.
Thank you Anita. My daughter phoned a while ago to say that Ben is much better. He will probably be out of hospital tomorrow.
Poor little sweethearts. Hope Ben recovers quickly. Hugs to all
ah it is so very hard to see our babies in hospital. My prayers are with you all. hugs Loralye
And with all this worry you still took time to send birthday greetings to so many cuties. Than you and prayers for you and your family.
Hope he's alright soon, and how sweet his sister was so worried, and was able to be with him. A lovely couple together. Hugs and prayers for speedy recovery!
Aww, bless both their hearts!! Praying for a quick recovery!
Hugs and prayers...I hope all is well very soon!
I hope all turns out well for Ben...must of been a big scare for you. take care.
My prayers go up for him and the rest of your family. It is a very scary time for all of you. I sincerely hope that the antibiotics work quickly and they figure out what it is soon.
hope things improve for him asap, she does look down in the dumps. Hate seeing our babies (no matter what age they are they are still our babies) sick,
hugs
Michelle
Oh Sarah hope he is well soon. Hospital is terrible most of all for kids. Looks like he has a television ;o)
Thank you Bettina. He is in a private room with chairs that let down into beds for the parents. At our hospitals the staff encourage the parents to stay - gives the staff less work and hassle. We were so pleased that Georgie was allowed to see Ben.
Good luck for you. Here they act like you are a blowfly and just disrupt their routine. They still not got to the point that for little children a hospital is frightening and they need their mum + the parents are free helpers :o(
Hugs to both of them :-
Here's to a speedy recovery.. hope everything is sorted soon..
Worrying time for all of you. I hope they get him sorted out and on the road to recovery soon.
That must have been so scary for her. I am so glad he is responding to the anitbiotics. They may not know what germ it is, however they have something to help. Yeah! She looks like this situation is quite serious and she has to process it all.
Thank you Christine - it has all been a bit worrying not knowing what is wrong.
