Hi Cuties! Finally squeaked out another pillowcase. This time it's for my 7 year old grandson, it's a sausage pillowcase and I surged the inside seams instead of the French seams. I didn't put an embroidery on the cuff, both fabrics are so busy. He's a big hot wheels fan. The cuff fabric and houndstooth were remnants marked down, all was purchased at Wal-Mart about 40 miles from here, our store doesn't have a fabric dept and lucky to have one that close that does. Thanks for looking! Sharon

Thank you! I hope so too! These are really fun to do, it is kind of addictive and they don't take long either.

I hope so Karen, have you ever noticed how thin thread counts sheets made for children are? Not to even mention the prices they bring. Thanks for your nice compliment.

Very appropriate fabric for someone who loves hotwheels. Great job on the pillowcase. Love Chris

Me too, the white fabric appears to have blocks that kind of look similar to tire tracks. lol! It was $4.99 a yard so only needing 3/4 yard it wasn't too pricey. It could have been worse, a couple of quilt stores sells their for $6. a yard and another local one sells from 8-10 a yard. Ugh.
