Beautiful!!!!Thanks for showing us ....Good workmanship...
They look great well done. You say you have a template for the top part..is it a bought item or did you make this up yourself that you would be able to share with your cutie friends?
I just made it, took a piece of paper over to the stove wrapped it over the handle to get the length 8 1/2 inch worked for me.,then cut it to a width -3 3/4 inch plus seam allowance, curved the edge. Once I had what I liked, then cut it out on a piece of plastic, on there I marked where I wanted the Velcro to go (underside make sure you sew on the Velcro before you sew it to the front), the center line and center mark for the design. Now I have a hard pattern with all the marking and easy to see through. I just embroidery the design then lay the template over , make sure everything lines up, mark and cut. Hope that helps.
Thank you for the nice clear instructions on how you made the topper for these towels.:)
Thanks for your reply baydreamer I'll have to try it when I get some spare time...lol
Great Job! I love the designs you used and how you made the towel topper. Very inventive!
these are just so elegant and will be a very joyful gift to receive. I have sent you a PM
Love these very cute. I love thanksgiving where ever it is. These will be well received. I love the topper size and matching.
Your towels look great!! Love how the embroidery work shows up even on a pattern towel!!
Great idea on coloring in some of the design. Well done. Have a wonderful Thanksgiving.
They are just so nice I really like them, good job! Hugs & ** Loralye
yes, I have a plastic Template for the handle, so I just cut that much off the towel. On the template have lines so I can center the designs (pumpkin) and for the velco which I just so on the underside
So cute and the Canadian that receives these will love and treasure them. As a Canadian, I know I would.
Hugs
