Comments, please, on Alpha Tricks which is an add on for Embrilliance Essentials. Is it worth $100.00? Currently I have some credit at a site and can get it for $85.00, but that is still lots of money if it doesn't deliver. Thanks for the input.

Alpha Tricks is a great add on to the Essentials software.

Alpha Tricks lets you use your purchased Alphabets and Free /downloaded Alphabets to make Text, Liines of text, Names, and Monograms and then save them as a stitch file to embroider out on your machine.

The program allows you to map the letters from those Alphabets into the progrsm and then you just use your comuter Key board to type the text or names etc.

The program lines up the letters for you and spaces them. just as you type them. You do have the optuon of adjusting the spacing if you want to. You can also adjust the slant of the letters.

There are Quick Keys to use to map the letters from your puchased or free alphabet sets into the program which makes it very quick and easy.

You can also import another type of design such as a floral design or animal design etc and combine it with lettering such as a name or other text and then save it all as one stich file to stitch out.

You can also use the Built In Alphabets that you got with Essentials in the same way once your have the add on Alpha Tricks.

You don't need to purchase Alphabets that come with BX Files to use this program..

Some Vendors are now offering BX Files along with the machine design format ( vip, pes etc.) you normally buy when purchasing alphabet designs. So you get both the Alphabet letters in your machine format and the BX files..

The BX files are already mapped and make it easy to add the alphabet letters to Alpha Tricks as the BX Fiiles just drag and drop into the program so you don't need to do the mapping of the letters.

I have both Essentials and Alpoha Tricks and really like the Alpha Tricks for doing lettering.

Check out Jolson's Fonts, he has Embrilliance. I don't know much about it, but check it out. This might help you decide.
