I see lots of August 29th birthdays. Happy birthday to you all!! Today is my mother's 91st birthday and I can't seem to reach her on the phone. Makes me sad not to be able to talk with her on her special day, so I will celebrate with you all. Hope you are having wonderful birthdays.

Yes, it wasn't but a few minutes after I wrote this message that my brother finally called and said they were having cake!! It was 8:30 at night!! The nursing staff had placed her phone in a drawer so she couldn't hear it. She has enough trouble answering it when it is close by!!. But I was able to sleep better knowing she was OK.
