Batting 9" x 9" square

Fabric #1 9" x 9" square (center fabric with grid)

Fabric #2 9" x 9" square (make a small slit in the center if you need help cutting away for reverse appliqué border)

Fabric #2 9" x 9" for backing

Pocket Fabric 7" x 3" (fold in half)

Hoop tear away stabilizer - Color #1 placement

Place batting and Fabric #1 (right side up) and center over placement stitches

Color #2 - Tack Down

Color #3 - Grid

Color #4 - Pocket Placement

Place folded pocket fabric with the fold at the top of the pocket placement lines, making sure to cover the side and bottom placement lines.

Color #5 - Pocket Single Run Tack Down - Cut away the fabric sides and bottom as close to the stitching as possible

Color #6 - Pocket Zig-Zag tack down

Now take a piece of tape and tape the pocket at the fold closed...so your embroidery foot doesn't catch it as the rest of the design sews out...but not too close to the sides to get caught in the ball satin stitching...

Color #7 - Placement stitching for Fabric #2 reverse appliqué border

Center Fabric #2 border fabric over placement line

Color #8 - Single Run Stitch Tack Down - Cut center of Fabric #2 out as close to the single run tack down stitch as possible.

Color #9 - Zig-Zag Tack Down

Color #10 - Satin Ball stitching and "Yummy"

Color #11 - Placement for GingerKid body

Center GingerKid fabric over placement stitching

Color #12 - GingerKid Single Run Tack Down - Cut away fabric as close to stitching as possible

Center Fabric #2 for back, wrong side up, over hoop.

Color 20 - Finishing tack down

Remove from hoop, trim with 1/4" seam allowance, leaving a larger "tab" at the opening for easier turning. Turn, press. I suggest sewing topstitching around the edge of the satin ball stitching on the sewing machine to finish...ENJOY!!!
