I have been taking an on-line digitizing class & I have learned enough so far to create this Santa face. I hope that you like it because I sure do! He is based on a applique quilt block but I digitized the face instead. He is not attached to the blue but I was auditioning the fabric.

So well digitized and the features are excellent with the fluffy eyebrows and the curly beard details. The fancy blue fabric highlights the design nicely.

ah that is HIGH PRAISE coming from you, thanks a lot Vicki! I did change it a bit more to add more curls in his beard made to sew into a heart shape. Do you like his feathered eye brows? hugs Loralye

pldc by pldc 24 Jul 2013

do you think he needs eye lashes?

basketkase by basketkase edited 24 Jul 2013

I love the eyebrow feathering and the type of stitch you used around the eyes, I think instead of eyelashes I would just put a single or triple stitch in black, just around the outer white of the eye........if you did do eyelashes, I would recommend keeping them short and straight to keep them from looking feminine
