Hello CUTE family. It has been sometime - since I posted last. I am trying to get on the PC more with each day - but still find it rather difficult to sit for very long. Things are getting done - sometimes quickly and sometimes slowly, but all in all - I am settling in and getting rid of many things that don't fit in this small apartment. One good thing - I was able to buy a car - the same model as the one that Rick kept and sold out from under me, but this one is a couple years newer. I have no idea how I will pay for it, but I am trusting in God and know that he wouldn't take me there and then not be with me, through this. What a blessing it is to have the love of God and all that He has provided for me during this trouble time. I do think of you all often. While I was going through some of my Mother's things (Miss Loretta) I found some of the most touching cards from so many of you - you had me in tears and I wept with joy for the love that you shared with her over the years. Thank you each so very much for doing that for her and just by chance I had a young man stop my my apartment the very next day and he noticed the quilt that you all stitched out for her and gave to me - then when he left - I spent a time with the quilt reviewing all your names and saying a prayer for each of you.... What a blessing you each have been for each of the CUTE family - for all this time. I may not stop by as much as in the past - but I do think of you each, often. Unconditional Love, Shirlene

I still cherish this quilt and everyone that visits asks me about it - it is so lovely how could they not. Thank you all again for the love that you put into making this quilt for "Miss Loretta" and I know she loves it and sees the joy it has broughten to me over the years. I do love each of the CUTE family ever so much. Thank you for giving me such wonderful memories.

This weekend I will be putting some items in a booth at Farmer's Market - I don't know what to expect and I am hoping that it might help with the insurance for the car for this month. We will see how it goes and I may get involved on a weekly basis - if it works out - so pray for me. Hehehe!

What a lovely quilt. You can tell it was made with great love. Miss Loretta was before my time of joining but, I still feel like I know you a little. You have always been kind and positive to people. You make the most beautiful angels I have ever seen. You have endured trials in your life that have made you only stronger. I have a large metal sign on my wall that is decorated with lovely roses. It says "What really matters is what happens inside us, not to us." Your a good, positive force that believes in God. I like people like that because it makes me want to be strong and positive too. I pray that things will only get better for you. God Bless You.
