Some time ago, someone was asking about sewing on knits, for basic construction, not embroidery. On Sundays in my area, there are wonderful sewing programs on TV, such as, Sew It All, It's Sew Easy, Knitting, Fons & Porter, Sewing With Nancy, and Quilt in a Day. Perhaps some of these shows would help, if you too get these programs. I record them and watch them at my leaisure. I believe It's Sew Easy is sewing on knits today. Good Luck!

Here I can get PBS (Public Broadcasting System) on a couple of channels with my antenna. They feature these kinds of programs plus home improvement, painting classes, gardening etc. I record programs that interest me for later review.

Back in the 80's we had a lot of TV programmes along those lines here in UK. Perhaps they will be coming back following the success of the Great British Sewing Bee. Fingers crossed, but not holding my breath!
