This is amazing. I love the hummingbirds and have fed them for years. . This was quite an experience for you.
I do hope the little bird has gone from strength to strength. What an amazing encounter. Hugs Sarah.
The little bird must have been terrified of you at first and then found you to be kind and compassionate. Your touch helped to save its life. It's the little things that give us character. You're one very awesome lady to take the time to save one of God's little creatures. Bless you.
How wonderful to be able to get that close, i'm sure it will remember your kindness and return often
Isn't it wonderful to hold one of God's little creatures in your hands and know that our Heavenly Father holds us with the same tender care.
What a wonderful precious moment with wild life. I have had a couple experiences that I really enjoyed. One was the flight of the dragonfly. thousands of them. Large ones. It only lasted a half hour and they were gone. That was once in over 20 years since I have been in this house. The other was a mother predator bird teaching her young to fly. It was mesmerizing. So glad you were there to take care of things.
yes is miracle I love hummingbirds my left the will come back in November.Maria
That is an experience you will never ever forget. I am envious. This morning I saw only one female ruby throat but the amazing thing was that it was feeding while a hawk was sitting on top of the suet feeder. All the other birds, chipmunks, and squirrels were long gone but not the hungry hummer. We live in the city but the hawk still visits about twice a month.
