Thank you ladies for all your wonderful comments and in particular for your praise for Vicki of Basketkase Designs, who should receive all the credit. My contribution was limited to loading the threads and pressing the big green button.

Now, I know one or two of you have expressed an interest in this piece and I am happy to oblige in due course. However, I have since come across another old picture which is even more realistic and which I am hoping that Vicki may agree to apply her creative skills. To this end, I shall be going on bended knee to ask if she would be prepared to undertake this task at some point. I hope that you will be content to wait a little longer but if this new picture cannot be digitized because of poor picture quality, then I will be happy to post this design for your personal use.

This is brilliant! My son asked me recently if there was anyone who might be able to digitise one of his bits of art work, for me to embroider, when he is ready, I'll have to contact Vicki. Her work is fantastic, I've already embroidered one of her designs, an owl, which I framed.
