I wanted to make a cellphone case with this design, so I came up with an ith version....Can anyone help me improve this?

I should have been clearer. Will the plastic fall apart if I satin stitch around the clear stuff? Where can I find a tutorial about finishing the outer edge of the ith case, After the piece is cut out, to get a cleaner edge? Thanks for your patience and help...
