Hi cute buddies having read of a lot of machine embroiders are having problems with there program security device(DONGLE) the metal end comes off the plastic

this is caused by continual insertion and retrieval from the USB plug And are expensive to replace $150.00 - $200.00 AUD. BELKIN has a flexible adaptor plug, you plug your dongle in and leave it there then you use the adaptor plug to connect to your computer it has aflexible swivel connector that bends and rotates 180 degrees cost $10.00 AUD

I have this problem, so now, i leave the key on the computer, but your solution seems better to me. Where can I buy this adaptator, that is the exact name? can they send to france or perhaps it is sold directly in france,

if you copy and paste the image of the plug and print it out you can take it it with you to the Computer store to show them what you want and give them the BELKIN part number F3U134vFLEX that is what I did

Lucky that I leave the dongle in the computer. You have solved an expensive problem tho' Tubby. I need a bolt & nut for my 'A' hoop (rather than pay dear for a complete hoop) do you have any suggestions?

I have never seen this, but I leave my dongle in my computer all of the time. Lucky enough that my machine has several USB ports. Good idea though, and not expensive at all.
