I noticed a post this morning about broderie Turquoise and someone having complained about her designs. When I went to check it out, I saw her posted (yesterday I think) and she tells about her home being broken into and completely ramsacked. They have been robbed of money that they were saving for a honeymoon, jewelery and many other precious items. Apparently even the police are surprised by the amount of damage they did in the house,

This is so sad especially when she was already down.
Just a reminder to let those who do good things for others, know how we appreciate those acts of kindness.
Hugs
Michelle

When your home is burglarized you feel violated. Some of the smaller communities would have a place in their newspaper about people in the community in the hospital. We were listed in an article about my mom being hospitalized and as I was laying in bed heard someone trying to get in the front door. I shook my husband awake and our dog started barking and then we saw a figure run by our bedroom window. The police came and said our dead bolt lock kept them from getting in. Even adverting a break in you still do not feel safe in your own home for a very long time. Things can be replaced and I hope she will be able to get past the break in.

Its just not fair is it. I don't understand how some think its okay to do this to someone else. I hope they find them and the missing items.

I am so very sorry to hear this. I know this is a very low point for her. I hope That things improve for her quickly.

This saddened me. I can't imagine how awful it must feel to have your "things" rifled through.

this is indeed hard. you even can't leave your house for some hours...we just returned from my sister. She had also a break-in last week. She left the house only 1 hour ! We helped them now to install a better doorlock with higher security. When we bought our house, we even borrowed extra money to put inmediatelly a security door. Lucky 'cos they did once tried to break in. -with no luck for them-
