Help needed! is there someone that wouldnt mind helping me with an embroidery problem. I need someone to test stich a design for me. ive stitched the design myself and the fill stitch has come out fantastic. However the stitching around the outter edges of the design have stiched of center leaving a small gap at the top on boths sides. Now i checked my design and according to my design layout there isnt a problem. I had this problem with something else the other day and im wondering if my machine may be slightly out rarther than the problem lying with my design. I would really appreciate someones help so i know whats going on with my designs. The design is 10cm x 10cm

heres a computer image of the design in question

Thanks
Tina

Tina.....I hope one of the other digitizers can help with this as well, but in my experience, when this happens it is usually the pull compensation that needs adjusting......the pull comes from the fabric being pulled as it stitches a fill, so you have to adjust your design for this.....I have pull compensation settings that are automatic depending on what type fabric I am stitching on...however, I can also change the pull manually........I am not as versed on this as I would like to be and it is still somewhat confusing to me, but this may be your problem...

I agree. I'm actually stuck on a design with this problem right now. I need to take it to my teacher.

thanks Viki, is it the pull compensation on the fill stich i need to adjust or on the outter border? im new to all this, i only started a month ago

Tina...you are doing so awesome, no one would guess you have only been at it a month. I usually do pull compensation on the area where the pulling is greater, in this case the fill...

Sewmom.....let us know what your teacher says, as I never had formal training and would like to really understand this pull stuff!!
