I've climbed on the hanging towel bandwagon! I've got a thing about symmetry so I put this hanger on the side of the towel. It was made in the hoop (including attching the velcro.) It does look better than my usual method (see second picture!)

Looks nice. I still use method #2 and it looks just as yours.
