I have inherited my daughters virtually new microwave. It is a Kelvinator KM30EG/M. I see from the rather poor instruction booklet that it 'grills'. Can any Cutie tell me if I need special pans etc. for 'grilling'? TIA. Sarah.

The round grill is stainless steel and the drip pan is a very heavy enamelware piece. I kept the tag with the manual so I snapped a picture of the warning for you. Will scan the manual if you want the cooking times if your is a convection combination but it didn't have recipes. I just use my recipes and the cooking times as the convection cooks faster than an oven.

This manual is close to your model and it shows a round grill on legs and mentions it is only for the grill series on page 7. I have one for my duel micorwave/convection oven and it came with a a drip pan also. I also use Corning Ware in my microwave which is a glass-ceramic material. Left a couple links for you to look through. If I can remember where my manual is I will try and see if there is any recipes in it with cooking times.

Thank you so much Anita. I just wonder what the material the grill is. Looks like a metal cake cooling rack.

I would htink it would come iwth a pan for grilling if it needs a special one! The other thought is the bacon pan is plastic and has grooves for the grease. Good Luck hope it does well for you1

I think it would be perhaps more of a rack. I am hoping that there will be a Cutie with a microwave that has a grill.

Your best bet would be to try putting the model information in the google search box,

I have done this and it tells me nothing - I am going to try again using different wording.
