My duuuuuhhh moment of the day. Was ironing some quilt patches and ran out of steam. Had a glass of water sitting nearby from the night before so I just grabbed it and filled my iron. Only later did I realize I just filled the iron with tea. At least it wasn't sweet tea. lol no harm was done

Yeah! I am not the only one! I drank soapy water thinking it was my drinking water.! Ugh! Do that only once!

You could always just turn the iron upside down to pour the tea out...if it's not tooo late! That is pretty funny though. You probably want to clean your iron incase come of the tannins in the tea are still in there.

I often read that some crafty people color their fabric with tea or coffee. To do this with the iron seems to be a brandnew method *lol*
