Just found a email in my junk box from them. I have no memory of signing up to them as I have little time to sew so dont sign up to more sites. I cant keep up with what I already have. Just wonder where they have my email from
Also got this e-mail and just deleted it. The thought of where they got my detail also crossed my mind. Interestingly I also had an e-mail yesterday supposedly from Paypal stating that I entered into a deal at e-bay for almost $600 and if I wanted to cancel I should use the provided link to log in and cancel the deal. Obviously I immediately went into my paypal account via the internet and there was no such transaction. I reported the e-mail and paypal advised that it was indeed one of the phising schemes currently running. So be on the alert ladies.
I got 2 of these as well & I did check via paypal but I did not notify paypal how do I do this?I did NOT open the link provided either.
I used the coupon , it's a new site and only has snowflakes on it. I used the coupon , for less than the value.
This is not my site but could be a second site for someone. It seems alot of people who due embroidery have a few sites.
I didn't have to leave any paypal or charge card imformation.
Bettina I googled the company and their actually is one and I added the link. How they received your e-mail I don't know unless they have a sister site where you signed up. I also would not open a e-mail from a company I don't know. So far they didn't send me one.
I recently googled my name "crafter2243" and was very surprised when it popped up with my real name and my picture from facebook (which I rarely use) connected to "Pinterest". That was the day I changed my avatar picture on the 2 sites where I used one. Here and facebook and cancelled my account on "Pinterest"
I was only wondering why it came on two of my adresses (they miss some out from yahoo ;o). So this is now the same information-collecting-and selling-system like facebook :o(
Bettina, I got an email this morning from "Ageless Embroidery", but, since I did not recognize the name, I sent it to my SPAM folder without opening it! Spammers seem to be at work constantly stealing email lists from different sites to send mass advertisements. Rule of the thumb: DO NOT OPEN ANY emails you do not recognize the sender! One may contain a virus, rather than just being an ad.
I EVEN GOT THE SAME E-MAIL!WHO ARE THEY ?????
and from where did they get my mailadress? Scary...
THE SAME MAILADRESS!!! THAT WILL NOT STEAL THE INFORMATIONS ON CREDIT CARS???
WILL SOME CROOK INFILTRATED ON THIS OUR SITE ???
I always use paypal cause I have no creditcard. If you don't click on a suspicious link or open attachments it should do no harm.
Maybe it is really a new embroiderypage? In that case they make a really stupid kind of promotion...
