Hi Cuties,

Have any of you used a program called Size-It to re-size designs? (being promoted on a web site called Amazing Designs) - there is a demo version but it doesn't let you test -drive far enough to actually do a stitch-out and I'm reluctant to pay for a program when I have no idea how well it works - seeing a design resized on the computer screen is one thing but being able to see it stitched out successfully yourself or hearing from someone who has found it to be a reliable program would be better.

There sure isn't much information about the Size It program.

It doesn't say what somputer operating systems it runs on.

It doesn't say if there are any updates to the program and if you have to pay for them.
It doesn't say if there is any kind of support for answering questions about the program.

In comparison you might want to look at the Sew What Pro Program.
You can download the full program and use it for 30 days or 60 saves before purchasing it.

It will run on Windows XP, Windows Vista 64 bit, windows 7 32 bit or 64 bit, Windows 8 and also on Mac computers.

It will resize designs using stitch recalculation, merge designs, merge lettering and designs, coinvert design formats from one to another and so much more.

It has all the hoop sizes for all the different Brands of machines on the market.

All updates to the program are Free!
The program is constantly being updated for new machines, thread brands etc.

There is a Yahoo group you can join and get all your questions answered and the developer of the program is always on the group to help you.

The Sew What Pro Program is $65.00 and well worth it.

You can find the Sew What Pro Program at Sands Computing as the link below.

Thank-you very much for this information. The SewWhatPro prgram looks very useful and much cheaper than the SizeIt program which is being promoted as a bargain, but something is only a bargain if it works properly and is useful.

Just checked it out, sounds like only resizes which recalculates stitches.

They don 't put much info in ad. I would need more data.

Thank-you for this information.
I had already had my fingers slightly burned with another sizing program that I bought - when it did not perform as anticipated, I wrote to their support dept, they acknowledged receiving my questions but never got around to answering them; hence my hesitation now>

Does it do anything more than what other software, like Embird, does?
