Does anybody know if Embird has got rid of all their bugs in the new 2012 version? I have some christmas money I could use to upgrade with, but is it worth all the hassle for the new features. (I always seem to have problems upgrading!!) TIA Suet

Looks like different platforms cause different problems. I am using Embird 8.8 on my laptop that runs on Windows 7 64bit. There is the odd glitch, but I can live with them. I think I will wait until the next update until I take the plunge. Thanks everybody Suet.xx

I'm running the 32-bit one on Vista without any problems.

I am running XP 32 bit, and purchased the upgrade in October...I had so many problems with it, I had to dump it and go back to the Build 8.8 and I did this at the recommendation from Embird...they didn't know exactly what was wrong with the XP interface...I am not sure how many updates they have done now to the new version, but I'm not going to try it again until at least after the first of the year. It was causing both of my digitizing programs to just crash and close and also my Word program to crash and close with no warning...I'm hoping that they will get the bugs worked out soon!

Thanks for posting. I was worried about what would happen with XP. I'll wait until they get that problem worked out.

I haven't had any problems since I upgraded a couple of months ago.
