Did anyone miss me? I have no inbox messages, no comment about my absence,you never even noticed I was gone.BooHoo-haha, just kidding. I had computer problems I need to tell you about, that my girlfriend/co-workers son, fixed and saved me over $150. in parts. One day I was looking at my designs and had pull 1 up close.Well the designs just started overlapping like they were corrupt.I knew they weren't because I used them b4. Well, I couldn't click ANYTHING, froze up so I unplugged pc. When I re-plugged it would just say monitor going to sleep and would not boot up. Well I took it to the friends son and he tried everything he knew to do and he knows EVERYTHING about pcs.Well, he told me it had to be my motherboard and since my pc is old, 6yrs old, the hookup wouldn't work with my old, so even tho my processor was good, it would have to be changed and something else for it all to hook up.Bear with me, I am trying to make it short. He ordered my parts,they came in, he went to install them and he found my problem. He said he has never run across this. I had a screw that grounds the pc missing, he discovered, when he went to remove my motherboard. He put a ground screw in and my pc works fine! Didn't charge me a thing, not even for the screw (he had one off an old pc, to replace it) He is able to return, which I told him I would pay return shipping. He said he isn't returning, gonna use the new parts and build his little girl a pc for xmas.I am lucky and thankful to have this guy. All is well that ends well....I know, most of you Cuties already thought I had a screw loose, you just didn't realize it was MISSING ! haha-Glad to be back and Happy Thanksgiving Cuties-Toogie

A lot of the cutie family has been missing because a lot of us could not download...comment...or give flowers....So would visit but could not let anyone know we were on...I had to refresh each page to make comments or give flowers up till a few min ago. I am thrilled to have them back....I know Ms V has been working so hard to fix the site and I am so happy to see you back.

You would be surprised, how much more sleep I got, with my pc gone. I really need to control myself more, when it comes to spending time here.I could look at designs,projects,etc till the cows come home-T

Oh, my pc looks much better than this....although, with a shape that good, this must be me!.It is hard for me to see, with these gray lens, but is that an earring or another loose screw? ....happy Thanksgiving to you Chris-T

I knew 'I' had a few loose screws but I didn't know I had one missing-ha Hope you have a nice holiday too-T

I know I would have been so relieved to get it fixed and able to use it again. Maybe you can find him something computer related for a thank you/Christmas gift. He really saved you lots. My DH lets me use his work laptop when mine isn't working and I've put some of my favorite designs on his for extra backup even thought I've got them on an external and CD's/DVD's.

I am, like they say, 'doing the happy dance' that I have pc again. Yes, I need to get him something, I told my hubby.He likes American Eagle store, so I may get him a money card from there. Anybody else could have really 'screwed" me, pardon the pun, and I wouldn't have known.
