Front 6” x 12” striped fabric folded in half, wrong sides together

Boot bottom 4”x6” black fabric

Back 6” x 12” black folded in half, wrong sides together



Tear away stabilizer

5” x 7” hoop



Hoop stabilizer only. Stitch first color placement line

Place striped fabric with fold at the top, just below horizontal line of boot top. Stitch color 2, which tacks it down.

Stitch color 3, which is the placement line for the bottom of the boot.

Center the single black piece on the boot bottom outline and stitch color 4

REMOVE HOOP FROM MACHINE BUT DO NOT REMOVE FABRIC

Trim fabric on top horizontal line only

Stitch color 5 ; the satin stitching over the area you just trimmed

****THERE IS A CANDLEWICKING STAR IN THE BOOT TOP. HERE

IS WHERE YOU STITCH IT WITH COLOR 6, OR SKIP IT

Place the black fabric, fold at the top, even with the striped fabric

and stitch color 7, which attaches the back.



Remove from hoop and remove stabilizer. Cut out close to stitching line; trim curves, and turn right side out
