Ham bags...christmas presents i have made 12 two of each design with a top print of little pigs i am trying to upload more than one picture hope it works...soozie... For cuties in other parts of the world who may not know in Australia Christmas is very hot and we often have cold legs of ham these are bags to keep it in the refrigerator.

You have done a really great job with these bags. They sure beat the plain old calico ones, don't they.

Very good idea, make beaut presents too. Soak your bag in a Vinegar/water solution and wring out. Then your ham will keep nice and moist in the fridge.

I see you had fun collecting these pigs! I'm glad you explained about hambags. Do you put the hams in plastic bags first before putting them in the fabric one? Do people buy ham bags like these at the stores where you live? These bags are just adorable!

yes i did have fun collecting them and no plastic bag just straight into the ham bag ( some people just use a pillow slip) the ham lasts quite a long time before it is all used and if it was in plastic it would get a bit slimy yes you can buy the bags in stores but i like the hand made ones...soozie

They are fun designs and like the bags idea to be sturdy enough to hold the weight of a ham.
